Horizon Children’s Home
Casa Hogar Horizonte was created to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of children in Rosarito Mexico. After 2 years of building, applying for permits, and training our staff, we were finally able to welcome our first kids to Casa Hogar Horizonte in April of 2023. It was well worth the wait. We currently are blessed with 12 kids in our home whom we are honored to love, serve, and point towards Jesus.
Humble Beginnings
On October 31, 2014, we opened a food kitchen in a garage for the children in the community of Plan Libertador, Mexico. Many of the kids didn’t have a lunch to take to school so we began to provide them lunch. We started with a group of around 20 kids and quickly grew to 50. We continued to serve lunches in the community during the pandemic. We are not currently running the food kitchen as we focus on opening the orphanage.
Volunteer
Come be a part of what God is doing in Mexico. Whether you desire to come for a day, week, or longer, there are so many ways to serve. We have the facilities to host groups of all different sizes.
We are excited about your church, youth group, missions team, or family and friends coming to visit and or stay at our facilities.
Events
We do many outreaches to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of the community. Past events have included: Summer Camps, Back to School Events, Christmas Toy Giveaways, Food Distribution, Parenting Classes, Computer Classes, and much more.
